I am giving it a 4 start instead of 5 because the townhouse was exactly what we needed. It had 4 large bedrooms, three bathrooms and a large living space, plus it had off street parking (garage) and a rec room on the lower level. The only thing I had a problem with was how long it took for the host to respond, once we were checked in, and his ability to resolve a few issues. The wifi was not working and the host would have had to come in the unit to fix since instructions to fix it ourselves did not resolve the problem. We were not in the unit much so being there when it was convenient for the host was not possible. I sent a message via Airbnb and it took him a while to respond and I think he only responded after we called him. Not having wifi was not a big deal to us but it would have been nice to have. The second thing was, I messaged to see if they had a k-cup coffee maker and the host said yes. It was not working. Wanted us to replace and the get reimbursed.

The bathrooms had hair from previous guests in the showers and tubs upon arrival. There was mold under a lip inside of the showers in two of the bathrooms that could have easily been scrubbed, and the master shower was dirty and grimy. My 8 year old son was grossed out enough to not want to shower in the master. We had to get cleaning supplies for the showers before use. The WiFi wasn’t working at all and the apps on the tv wouldn’t connect to the WiFi. When I texted the owner I got an uncaring response, then no response at all until we had spent 2 hours trying to fix it ourselves. The instruction book even states that there is frequent connectivity issues with the WiFi and the tv, and when I texted that we had followed the instructions to reconnect and it still didn’t work, the owner told me those instructions didn’t exist, to which I sent him a screenshot of his own instructions. The pool is far away and difficult to access, and there was wadded up dirty blankets in ottoman of couch.

The home is big and spacious, perfect for traveling with a big family! Nice quiet area with lots of beautiful nature surrounding it. Dust on the surfaces triggered my allergies immediately. Fridge and stove were stained, and some area surfaces were dusty.

We loved the location the size and the furniture beds etc. this place was not cleaned before we came or just not done well. Trash in bathrooms, microwave was extremely dirty.. splatter all over. Refrigerator was not wiped down food and crumbs on the shelves. Home was dusty, floors not vacuumed, needed mopped and kitchen table was dirty. A few of the blankets throws don’t smell good. It does have a very comfortable lived in vibe which we love but cleanliness was not there. It honestly felt like we came right after other guests and no one cleaned up between. Just changed bedding. If that problem gets fixed I would give it a 100 review.
