This was my second stay with Richard on this trip to Arusha, and I've stayed here on several occasions. Richard and his staff are extremely accommodating and responsive to every need. The location in rural Njiro offers tranquility, and even some Vervet monkeys welcomed me near my room...the gardens are fantastic, and the monkeys apparently agree. Meals are delicious, and Richard offers charming conversation and local insights. Would definitely stay again.

This is the 4th time I've stayed at Richard's AirBnB, and it never disappoints. Richard is a charming host who designed this Zanzibar-like oasis in rural Njiro suburb of Arusha, where you can watch Vervet monkeys cavort in eclectic trees of the botanical garden he has created within the courtyard grounds. He will be happy to educate you on the local and exotic plants, many of which will end up in your cuisine, like fresh-juiced passion fruit with a hint of cinnamon bark -- or homegrown black pepper in savory soups. Always a treat to come back!

Extended my stay at this delightful AirBnB residence in tranquil Njiro neighborhood just outside busy Arusha. Food is excellent, including fruits and vegetables from the garden and homegrown Tilapia from the pond. Zanzibar-inspired architecture is an owner-designed marvel. Richard is a warm and caring host -- you'll want to extend your stay as I did. Don't miss nearby Arusha National Park, often overlooked in favor of Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. Arusha NP offers superior opportunity for close-up wildlife interaction on foot, including strolling along with giraffe and baboon.

This was my 4th stay at Poza Palace, and like the previous ones, it was remarkable. Poza Palace is a peaceful oasis from the hustle-and-bustle of downtown Arusha, and host Richard and his staff are accommodating to every need. The captivating Zanzibar architecture is complemented by delectable savory local cuisine that includes vegetables grown in the garden, and Tilapia raised in the large concrete fish pond. Tamu sana!

An amazing stay at Richard place : cozy and clean room, really friendly staff, tasty diner and breakfast and quiet location. Also, the staff is really friendly and available to help you in any way. We highly recommend this place !
