Perfect cottage , great location and everything you could possibly ask for available. Very dog friendly and loved the village
Stunning cottage in a lovely location. Very well equipped and decorated. Amazing communication.
An immaculately clean property that is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Everything is well labelled and easy to find. Eventhough there's lots of warning that the WiFi isn't great, we had no issues and managed a video meeting and watched a film. Communication with the host was great and the little welcome treats for us and the puppy were a nice touch. The village is quiet and the pub welcoming and serves great beer. There's even a castle that is free to walk around just up the road. A perfect location to explore the coast.
Friendly village on the edge of the River Tweed. Good pub that serves meals, excellent butcher and delicatessen, country shop for fishing and shooting supplies and a first rate baker. Historic Castle and Church within walking distance
There are local buses that travel to Berwick upon Tweed and Coldstream and on to Kelso. Quiet roads suitable for cycling. Many walks available from the cottage
自我介绍
I now live in the BVI which is a long, long way from Berwick upon Tweed (and I'll be honest the weather in the Caribbean is a lot warmer!). Berwickshire is the area in which I grew up and I love it; it's a really, really special place and largely undiscovered by mass tourism. My parents, Christine and John Ward, still live locally and they help me manage Old Templars Cottage along with their other holiday cottages. We bought Old Templars Cottage in 2014 so that we have a place to stay when we come back to visit; we hope you enjoy staying there as much as we do. I love to travel and think the AirBnB concept is great: I hope to explore some of the other listings myself. Feel free to contact me with any queries you have, I'll be happy to help you! Charlotte x
