Staying with Loreto and her mom in their charming home was simply sublime. From the moment I booked this reservation, Loreto went out of her way to communicate with me. Upon arrival, I was greeted with big smiles and open hearts. The room was sparkling clean, the bed comfortable, and the backyard space delightful. The town has beautiful energy and an interesting history. I also booked two tours with Loreto: her Astro tour, and an energy healing time down by the Elqui River, which I highly recommend. Do not hesitate to stay with Loreto and her mom.

13 days before the start of my stay, I requested a shortening from 3 to 2 nights. After two days of no reply, I sent a reminder. The tone of her eventual response was condescending if not also a tad passive aggressive: She said they’d consider, but lamented my lack of felt obligation to the policy, emphasised how long they’d kept the reservation (not significant point IMHO, esp. as there were no surrounding bookings), etc. When one out of two sentences in my alteration request mentioned compensation according to the policy, why does she chastice me for not respecting it? I shared, I believe politely, some sentiments and reasonings in response, whereafter she says she “understand me perfectly” but at the time “didn’t have internet at her fingertips”. Why blame her circumstances instead of apologising for giving me an unwarranted lecture? Apart from this exchange, everything else was pretty much perfect! They are kind people, and the house is beautiful.

I felt right at home - Loreto and her family are very welcoming and open. We had beautiful talks and she gave me a great deal of tips and really takes her time to answer all your questions. Hope I will come back one day.

Feliz con mi estadía, fue como llegar a casa. Es un lugar muy tranquilo, buena ubicación para salir a recorrer todos los pueblos. Loreto y su mamá son maravillosas y siempre disponibles a resolver dudas, te entrega buenos datos para conocer todos los rincones del valle, realiza hermosas actividades y más...en general es muy recomendable 🫶🙏🙌
