Lovely apartment within walking distance of many places in Reading. Super comfortable beds and nice kitchenette. Bedrooms are separated by a common stairwell and check-in is done in person. Host is extremely friendly and a local restaurant owner.

The AirBNB hosts were very kind and accommodating, especially with our late arrival. The location allowed easy access to lots of tourist places. The only negative was having to use the back entrance to enter and exit as one walkway was very dark and the other walkway was isolated. Would suggest staying here with a group due to location. Private driveway was amazing as street parking was quite full.

The hosts were very nice and communicated quickly...they also allowed for a much-needed early check-in. Nice touches throughout the house made us feel at home; this place has history and loads of character. With that comes some old-fashioned amenities which may not be the best. For example, I wished there was better lighting in the bathroom. Also, there is radiator heat and each needs to be adjusted; no thermostat. We did enjoy our stay and if character and comfort is what you're looking for, this place will fit the bill.
