This flat is in the best possible location in Marettimo, with an amazing roof terrace with a stunning view. Clearly this is a house of people who like to entertain and there is everything you need to have a fantastic time. Really nice decor, comfy beds and handpainted ceramica and tiles everywhere, we loved the design. The flat is one large room, including bedroom and living space (which is tricky to see in the pictures) with a very nice separate bathroom and then the roof terrace. You soon feel part of the scene in Marettimo as the fishermen sit right outside the door chatting all day! We had a lovely stay in this clearly much-loved holiday home.

We loved the apartment of Beatrice! It’s located directly at the port, nice interior and a beautiful terrace! Cettina welcomes you and shows you around - the tour around Marettimo with her husband was so nice and she was always reachable! As we were staying in the apartment at ferragosto it was sometimes a bit loud in the night but also easy if you just enjoy the nights outside :-) Marettimo is incredibly beautiful with lots of nice beaches, restaurants and cafes & beautiful hikes!

What a special place. Once you’ve been to Marettimo, you won’t want to go anywhere else in Sicily! Beatrice’s place is the best placed on the island, hands down. Beautiful view of the harbour, right next to Scaletta, where we had coffee, donuts and croissants each morning. And evenings spent walking the dock by moonlight and chatting with locals. The roof deck is 10x better than the pictures, and much more spacious and well stocked that the description provides. We ended up eating out half the time, and cooking in half, sitting on the roof and enjoying the nightlife scene from our own quiet perch. We will definitely be back!

Beatrice’s place is not only a marvellous house it is a unique experience to immerse yourself in the beauty of Maretimmo and the fishermen’s daily lives. You can’t say enough about Beatrice’s place and no words would do it justice or to be correct poetic justice. The house is magically situated just in the middle of the scenic hustle and the fishermen’s lives. La Scarletta bar is across the house. The views are unbeatable from every window and the wonderful terrace rooftop. The house is furnished with amazing details and high end touches and everything you need is there. One of the most wonderful experiences and I will surely return again. Thank you Beatrice for your hospitality and allowing us to stay in this jewel in Maretimmo.
