This Airbnb was fine, though parking was not quite as expected. We thought we would have a dedicated parking spot, and it's why we picked this particular AirBnb. Instead, there was a driveway in which three cars could fit front-to-back. In order to leave, you either had to be lucky enough to be the last car in or get someone to move the other cars. And, if we left to go out without the car, we'd have to leave a key so someone would be able to move our car. That aspect was not well explained. For those who are sensitive to scent: this unit is *heavily scented*. Scented candles, scented cleaning products, Glade plug-ins, scented Irish Spring bar soap, and hand soap, but the biggest offender was the laundry detergent (Gain). It had scent particles that clung to my pajamas and permeated everything in the wash load that I did when I got home. The unit was very clean, and also very strongly scented.

Hemen’s place is fantastic. It was fully equipped with everything you can think of, from blenders to BBQ equipment, there’s even a playground in the backyard for kids. He also accommodated us with more private parking whenever possible and he lives next door so he was very easy to reach. I will definitely go back whenever I am in Montreal. The only downside are the neighbours upstairs, who you can hear walking around and moving furniture. I was there with a baby and with the jetlag, he was sleeping during the day and early evening where there was most activity but if you’re just adults then it doesn’t matter too much.

Hemen was a fantastic host - many thanks for all the many details and attentions whether at our arrival or during our stay as well as your availability. The location is great (2 min walk to metro) and call, the town house is truly amazing - extremely clean, bed comfortable, kitchen fully equiped incl. with high quality appliances, lovely TV with world wide channels. Felt almost like home. We will be back and can highly recommend.
