This rental is a 4 unit apartment complex. For whatever reason, once you pay you will get the address to the rental but NOT the unit number. This was a big issue for check in purposes because the owner wants to be on the phone with you when you “check-in” so she won’t give you the unit number that you rented or give you the code to get into the unit until she’s able to get on the phone with you. This caused a delay in our check in which was unacceptable because it was over an hour AFTER the 4 p.m. check in time. The owner’s reasoning is that she was busy at work and could not get away - despite the fact that she had the ability to text me and tell me that she would call me as soon as she was available. This issue could be resolved by the owner having to identify the unit that is being rented along with the code to get in. She insisted that she has this policy because she wants to know right away if there is an issue with the apartment so she can fix it. I explained that maybe she needs to balance that need with the need of the renter - who has paid for use of the apartment - and is forced to wait outside until she’s available for a telephonic walk through. There was a lot more going back and forth on this issue that I don’t want to detail here - but suffice it to say that I was misled as to how the check in was going to take place - which made matters worse and highlighted the frustration with the check-in (this included her asking me to text her when I was 30 minutes out so that she could open the unit for me). I have the text messages where I texted her to let her know of my location. In addition, the shower was inoperable. The water pressure was not strong enough to allow any water to go through the shower head - and when I was finally able to get some water to go through the shower head it was a mere trickle. I have video and photos of this - that I sent to her. There was a delay in getting someone to the apartment to fix the issue - which is what it is - except that never once did she offer to move us into another unit or to refund part of the money for the inconvenience. Finally, the toilet was leaking water through the floor (which is probably why the tile in the bathroom is broken and loose). The toilet was therefore inoperable - which forced us to have to find another bathroom to use. I also have pictures and videos of this. The toilet could not get fixed right away either. The owner is completely unprofessional and really quite passive-aggressive. I’m actually concerned about her reaction to this review - but I am being honest in the hopes that others don’t have to experience what we went through. She really ruined our trip - because of text messages that she sent to me implying that we had clogged her toilet. I also have those messages saved. I’ve never been treated so poorly renting via airbnb and will do a lot more research the next time that I rent. This experience was an absolute nightmare, but despite that, I can tell you on the positive side, that the apartment was clean, spacious, and the 2 full size beds were comfortable. The AC worked well. There is a television but we never turned it on. There were only 4 towels in the bathroom. Additional towels were delivered on day 3 of the 4 day rental. The kitchen has the necessary items for basic cooking. Finally, the location is convenient since Port Mansfield is small.

Right in the middle of the mix. You'll love the location. The value is second to none and lots of parking. There are close neighbors in the apartment but they were Aggies so we got along just fine! HA!

The personal touches were fantastic. Water was left cold and refrigerator and a fruit bowl what's left on the counter. Everything was brand new it looks like completely remodeled. The view from the ocean out the window and the deer in the yard are amazing. I highly recommend this place the hostess goes out of their way to make you comfortable.

My husband and two friends stayed here while fishing . The space met their needs and the location was great. Anne was so quick to respond to any questions that I had for her - which I really appreciated!
