Our family spent a wonderful two weeks at this lovely cottage! Great time swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, and just looking at the beautiful lake and relaxing. We also went on excursions to Killarney, the Georgian Bay, and French River Provincial Park. The cottage worked well for our family of six adults. Comfortable queen beds, well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, and space to visit, play games, and read. Be prepared for multiple steps to the cottage from parking. It is close to the water and dock in a pretty secluded setting. Danielle responded promptly to our questions and concerns and is a great host.

Treacherous steep stairs to get down to cabin - no railing; very dangerous. No guard rail at parking area with crazy steep drop - would be dead if backed up too much. No water craft allowed to be used/all locked up, yet shown in photos; could not carry our own kayaks down with such a long steep drop so could not enjoy getting out on water. A lot of the dishes were not clean and had to wash upon arrival, yet Covid cleaning fee $175 plus service fee of $120 - there was no service. Mouse running around kitchen. Nothing was included - no linens, towels, T.P., soap, paper towel, yet website says these are included. Claustrophobically small cabin - bedrooms had only double beds with old uncomfortable mattresses - nowhere to put luggage. T.V. but no service for channels and DVD player does not work. No internet. Propane BBQ absolutely filthy and no wire brush to scrub it so not usable. Big sitting area on deck with cushions that are left out - soaking wet and filthy so couldn't use. Way overpriced. Poor quality. There were 4 of us staying there and we were all of the same opinion. Disgusting.

Great view, lovely part of the river in a quiet bay. Not a busy river if your going boating or tubing. Steep stairs to unload your vehicle but if you want the work out your in luck. Host always responds quickly to clarify any questions.

Gibby’s Getaway a little slice of paradise. My family and I stayed here for 3 weeks in July. The cottage is well-maintained and cozy. Upon arrival, the cottage was immaculately clean with all the comforts and amenities of home. Great porch with gorgeous water-side view. We really enjoyed our time here, and is a perfect escape from the busy-ness of city life. Convenient access to Alban (10 mins), Noelville (20 mins) and Sudbury (45 mins). Danielle was a wonderful host and was very responsive to any of my questions during my stay. My only note for consideration is that there are no stairs/railings to enter and exit both docks, as it is pictured.

Cottage and lake are beautiful. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Highly recommend stay here.
