Lovely place to stay, right on the lake. Well stocked save a pizza cutter, but a knife worked fine! The upper floor with the bed is stunning. The only significant drawback is no wifi. It's a problem mostly because the cell phone signal is very low to non-existent as well, so it created some issues. When I got to the cabin I couldn't open the internet on my phone so I had to drive back 13 miles to find out the code for the door; so that maybe could be sent earlier than standard. (This wouldn't be much of a deal btw but I had an electric car so every mile counted; had to make it to Waco the next day and was anxious about conserving battery.) Likewise things like checking in for a flight, etc, you have to make sure you do that before you go back to the cabin without any wifi. Anyway, I know it's in the country but when you're traveling, it can become an issue. But otherwise lovely!

My boys and their capitan stayed for a prefishing weekend. perfect for what they needed, close to the boat launch, easily accessible with a boat in tow. Just what they needed for a place to stay when they weren't on the water. They would definitely stay again! Vickie was a great host, responsive and super friendly! She made the stay even better!

The Tiny House on the Lake was beautiful. My bf and I spent a lovely cozy weekend tucked away on the lake.

We enjoyed it and would probably go again. If you’re going to fish/boat on the lake, you can’t beat the location, it’s right next to the boat ramp. It is very peaceful at night. It was well stocked and had everything we needed. The fire pit with the provided firewood was a big plus. A few downsides: when they say tiny they mean tiny. In my opinion it’s too expensive for only having one bed. I thought there were two beds, but it’s only one bed and a fold out couch. Probably my fault for not reading the description close enough. They need an a/c downstairs. It was 50 degrees at night and still that unit upstairs would not cool the whole place. No way it would be comfortable in the summer. My main complaint was the lack of cleaning up the yard. They did mow the grass, but grass clipping were left everywhere. I spent 20 minutes raking around the walkway and fire pit. They need to do better with that, especially as much as we paid.
