Forest and lake of Muurame (19 km long ) are just front of Glasshouse, the village of Muurame is 9 km, Jyväskylä -town about 12 km from Muurame .
In Muurame you can find all shops which you’ll need. ( médecins, pharmacie, coiffeur, many supermarkets, fuel etc)
If you like playing Golf is about 9 km from Glasshouse.
Jyväskylä is university-town, moderne but close the nature and lakes. You can take the boat from Lahti-town to Jyväskylä on Päijänne-lake. Distance is about 300 km. In Jyväskylä there is Alvar-Aalto- museum and his designed buildings.
Muurame’s church is designed by Alvar Aalto, too. In Jyväskylä there is Art and Hand-grafts museums, many shops, restaurants and in summer the town is very festive.
Center of Finland is very hilly, beautiful with lakes, forest.
Helsinki -Muurame is very easy to come
It’s better to rent the car in airport if Helsinki . ( Sixt or others rent car ) Buses are coming, too, direct to Jyväskylä.

The best is to rent the car in airport of Helsinki. It’s very easy to come, direction Jyväskylä which is bigger road ( like motorway ) or by Helsinki-Lahti-Jämsä-Muurame
with smaller road , but it comes directly to Muurame. The both roads past near Päijänne- lake, left -or right- side.
To come by bus is possible, too, from Helsinki -Muurame or from airport direct to Jyväskylä
