Great Spot! Unique space that was awesome for our fan and a great kitchen that was well equipped. Look forward to staying again.

We stayed here for Christmas and it was cozy yet spacious, rustic, beautiful, and funky. Was worried about using a different oven to my own for the big Christmas meal, but the range is top notch. The kitchen has many serving and baking dishes, cast iron skillets, baking sheets, gadgets, measuring equipment, and cooking utensils. The refrigerator was empty and very clean. Once we figured out how all the thermostats worked, all the spaces were very comfortable (thermostat in the twin bedroom, thermostat in the kitchen that also heats the primary bedroom, thermostat in the vestibule for the floor heating of the great room). The king bed is extra firm, which we loved. It took a minute to figure out how there projector worked, but after that it was great fun. Piano is fun too, but needs tuning. Despite it being the end of December, it was in the 50s outside so we did hang out in the yard, which is lovely, and we watched the sun set from the Adirondack rocking chairs. It was a great trip.

There were several issues with basic services that make me unable to recommend staying here. 1. No heat. While the small cabin area with kitchen was heated, the remainder of the house in the barn (two beds, 1 bath, bar, long table, seating area and movie projector) heat was not working with the interior registering 45 degrees. The temp control was behind a padlock case which the combination to was not offered. Space was unusable. 2. No hot water. Similar to the above, the barn areas heat functions were broken and no hot water was available on that side of the house including 1 of the 2 bathrooms in the house. 3. Gas fireplace is not allowed to be turned on. 4. Espresso/Cappuccino machine broken, no filters were left out for drip coffee. While we were told water was potable, taste was off and we ended up buying some. Highly disappointed as the above ruined our plan for a cozy weekend getaway. In speaking with Dan on compensation, he was not responsive. Seeking a refund from Airbnb
