Harold was friendly and hospitable, gave us great local recommendations! Less than 5 minute walk to a brewery with great beer and food Amazing views, a birdwatchers paradise! The retreat was exactly as described and had great facilities. 10/10 would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Herald’s place. It even looks much better in real life than the photos. Very peaceful and calming. Great host. Highly recommend staying there.

Absolutely serene getaway from the city. Felt totally immersed in nature. Watching the wetland was more interesting than TV. Exactly what we needed and I felt very creatively inspired here. The outdoor tub was so relaxing! The host was attentive and helpful on site. We’d love to return someday. Such a unique location and it had been on my Airbnb saved list for a few years, so we were glad to finally have the opportunity to stay. Local tip: Loved the Sunday Prime Rib up at the Marina restaurant, and also walking 10 minutes for great local craft beer around the corner from the suite.

The property was beautiful and peaceful. Harold gave us excellent recommendations for activities in the area. Would love to stay here on future visits.
