Ian and Erika were very welcoming to our family of 2 young boys and a large dog. They took the time to show us around on arrival and were on hand should anything have been needed including info about the local area, places to visit and enjoy and even the details of a local vet to get the paperwork sorted for our return home at the end of the stay. The cottage is perfectly sized for 5 people to stay and has a very well kitted out kitchen which has everything and more that you might need to prepare anything from breakfast to a 6 course meal (if you wanted to). The best thing for us later in the day (and especially for the boys) was the heated swimming pool which was perfect even on some of the less sunny days. We were able to enjoy relaxing strolls around the grounds to see the koi carp in the lake or the chickens and geese which walk around freely. This was a lovely stay and ideally located to make the most of both the Normandy and Britany coastlines.

Très bon séjour d'une semaine avec des amis. L'endroit est calme et reposant. Nous avons pu nous relaxer dans la grande piscine partagée avec les autres visiteurs dans une entente cordiale. La cohabitation avec les animaux occupant le domaine a été un vrai plaisir et l'accueil réservé par Ian & Erika a été très sympathique. Je recommande la Maison du Jardin pour les personnes recherchant comme nous de la relaxation dans un très jolie domaine.

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks stay in the gardeners cottage- la maison du jardin at the Château de Boucéel. The cottage was great and very well equipped had everything we needed including two lovely donkeys as neighbours. The swimming pool was amazing and so refreshing after a day discovering the delights of the surrounding area. We visited the walled town of St Malo, Mont St Michel, Granville and the beaches of Normandy. Our hosts were very friendly and the setting is very quiet so great for a relaxing week. Thank you.
