We stayed two nights as part of a group of 22. It's a beautiful place and the we had a great time, Vera was very friendly and relaxed. One of the best parts was the fire pit (which was going all day and night) which we cooked all our food and boiled water over. Quite an experience for us camping newbies. The main meeting area is great with plenty of room for 22 and lots of shelter. We didn't expect the nights to be so cold even in August so plenty cosy clothes to sleep in and warm sleeping bags important. Also didn't expect it to be so damp (grass wet til late morning) in August so bring wellies as runners get wet. Very special atmosphere, would highly recommend.

22 of us on a stag night away after a local hike. Really beautiful spot. Rustic but perfectly ample facilities. Vera was really helpful, accomodating, hospitable and super easy to communicate with. We rented a generator and hung some lights up to make it more homely. Kinda feel like discouraging people for going so we can keep it all to ourselves! We hope to return again.

Had a wonderful time last weekend at Vera's Tipis, went as a big group of friends and was perfect for us to have a barbeque, throw a frisbee around and have a few beers by the fire, had everything we needed and the people working in the nearby clubhouse were lovely enough to even give us a bag of Ice to chill our drinks! Would be aware that you'd want nice weather to make the most of the location, but even when it rained briefly the night we stayed, we just retreated to the shelters and kept the night going! Definitely would recommend for large groups of friends!

Our Tipi Village stay was truly breathtaking! With stunning surroundings, Vera, our delightful host, made communication effortless. The Tipis, adorned with fresh rugs and comfy camping mattresses on pallet beds, accommodated our group of 30, many experiencing camping for the first time. The campsite provided all essentials for our adventure. An abundance of dry wood for campfires and cooking heightened our enjoyment, and the kitchen with running water and cooking essentials for making foods on an open fire, made catering for the group a breeze. Three nearby toilets were a convenient blessing, particularly during adverse weather conditions. Even with challenging weather, the sheltered BBQ area kept our spirits high as we cherished each other's company. In conclusion, our Tipi Village experience was fantastic! Thanks to Vera's hospitality and attention to detail, we had all we needed to brave the elements and create cherished memories. Thank you, Vera!

We had a fabulous time at the tipi village. The location is ideal if you are looking for a group getaway without the worry of disturbing others. Communication with the host was 10/10, Vera was very informative and helpful, she couldn't do enough for us. We would definitely stay here again.
