Hele fijne week gehad in het huis van Simon en Marie. Het huis was netjes en voldeed aan de beschrijving en verwachtingen. De trein reed wel een stuk vaker dan verwacht maar was tegelijk ook leuk vermaak voor de kinderen. Er was veel speelgoed voor de kinderen en er is een compleet inventaris. In de omgeving is niet zoveel te doen (wel supermarkten op loopafstand), het stadje is wel sfeervol. Abdij in de buurt bezoeken is een aanrader. Het weer viel een beetje tegen waardoor we niet optimaal konden genieten van de tuin/het zwembad maar anders was dit perfect geweest. Marie en Simon checkte regelmatig of alles oke was en loste (kleine) probleempjes snel op. Heel erg bedankt voor de fijne tijd!

What an amazing family home to holiday in! Simon and Marie’s home is wonderful and the garden is superb! The pool is an absolute highlight but the whole garden is a wonderful space with swings and sandpits under shady trees, lots of grass for games, sheep to feed (as a treat not an obligation for guests!) and a hot tub if the weather isn’t hot enough for the pool. We stayed as a family with 5 young children and there was plenty of space for sleeping, eating and playing. Simon and Marie and their kids did an incredible job of clearing all their personal items into one room so it felt like a holiday home experience but with absolutely everything you need as a family with young kids including lots of toys and games. Simon and Marie were so welcoming and met us at the beginning and end of our stay and communicated well whenever we had any questions about the house or area. Nivelles is a lovely little town. The house is in a super location for food shopping (Lidl, Aldi & Carrefour all just round the corner!). And Brussels and other fab places to visit aren’t too far away. Simon we hebben het ontzettend naar ons zin gehad niks aan toe tevoegen .Compleet huis alles was aanwezig .Groet Martin Miriam

Prachtig huis met een geweldige tuin. Simon en Marie (en hun 4 kinderen) zijn geweldig! Met mooi weer is het een heerlijke plek met de grote tuin, het lekkere zwembad, het fijne terras, lekker plekje onder de wilg, uitzicht op de schapen. Met minder mooi weer is het heerlijk lichte huis groot genoeg om je ook daar te vermaken en biedt de jacuzzi een prettig alternatief. Fijne omgeving om te wandelen (mooi park in de buurt met meertje), Waterloo, en ook Brussel voldoende in de buurt om een dagje naar toe te gaan. We hebben geen last gehad van de trein. Kortom: een absolute aanrader!

Simon's house is really a gem for a family with kids. The big garden with the swimming pool makes it the perfect place to relax with your family. The house is modern, spacious and well equipped. Marie and Simon are charming hosts.
