Lovely little room in a beautiful, quiet beach/surf town. Good food nearby or drive a short distance and you're in the city. If you get a chance stop at the Strandwich for breakfast or lunch....you won't be disappointed. Great beach nearby but watch out for the tar. Florencia is a wonderful hostess...accommodating and invisible.

I stayed at Florencia’s for two months while my house was under construction. I could not have had a better experience. The studio is small but very comfortable, modern and has everything you need. The beach is a block away and there are several very cute restaurants. Florencia is a very attentive and helpful host - she checked in with me when I got there to make sure I had everything I needed and very kindly mailed some packages for me and even charged my car when I was out of town. The one drawback for me was that the studio does not get a ton of natural light (it’s on the lower floor, facing away from the street). I only noticed this because I work remotely and was in the studio more or less all day every day. But the location of the studio relative to the house and street also makes it more private. And the proximity to the beach makes it very easy to take vitamin D breaks :) I would happily stay here again.

Florencia is an outstanding host. She has created a magical space that is warm, cozy, and such a delight. She anticipates needs and is quick to respond to messages. I so adore this space and what Florencia does as a host. Florencia makes the most of a cozy room, providing what is needed to make a comfortable stay and doing so with a simple elegance. The dishes, the art, the furnishings all work together to create an ambience that says, this is home.
