It's first time in Kodai. Even though this place is far away from Kodai i am satisfied for the value this brings . Had a great family time and felt like home. Though we had option to cook we chose to eat freshly cooked local delicacies by care taker and it was yumm. most importantly it is my pet who had pawsome time unleashed. love this and we like to visit again in winter.

Swashram was a beautiful place. I stayed for 2 nights with my husband 1 year old. The host Vinayaka is quite responsive and helpful. The caretaker Maha Lakshmi and the helper Chitra take care of all the needs very diligently. Highly recommend to eat the food cooked by them. It's very cheap, easy on the stomach and very tasty. The view of the valley is quite a sight during sunset. The location is around 45 min drive from Kodaikanal City and you need to have your own car or use taxi service. All in definitely would recommend the stay.

It was a great place surrounded by beautiful views. It is little far from the main attractions but the peace and serenity is worth the travel. The local food (breakfast) provided in house was also scrumptious. kulfi (cute dog) coexisting with two cats was a super cute trio accompanying us during our stay. All in all my family enjoyed the stay.

We loved the views of the hills, valley and skyscapes from the sit outs. Also watching the monkeys and deer coming down to the property, a family of Martin's fledging and large birds of prey wheeling around in the air above. Maha and Sitra looked after us really well, like daughters, including taking us for a picnic and making really tasty food, some of it picked fresh from around the property. This is a gem of a place and amazingly good value for money. Don't hesitate to stay here. 🙂

I had a great time with my family at Swaashramam. It’s a lovely place with a breathtaking view of the mountains and a huge outdoor garden space. It’s cozy inside with great sights through large windows all around the house. It has a fairly-equipped kitchen and good internet connectivity with Wi-Fi. The property has a huge private farm which is accessible to guests and leads a trekking path to the hill top (highly recommended trek!). We liked that the property was away from the bustling crowd and didn't mind the commute to the tourist attractions. Vinayaka Sarma is a wonderful host and everything was well-organized. He stayed connected with us and ensured we had all the information needed and amenities arranged. He was cool and prioritized guests' peaceful stay and enjoyment. The caretakers were great and ensured we had a nice and comfortable stay. They cooked good food and were fun to hang out with during the trek. Our stay here was a wonderful experience and we hope to visit again.
