非常漂亮的房子，外面的景色也很漂亮，但是卫生情况比较一般。夏天入住是个问题，太热了，没有空调。

We had a great stay. The location right by the water was amazing. The property was extremely well stocked with everything you need. I’d highly recommend staying if you have a larger group, it’s set up perfectly.

If you are looking for a unique and large property, this is the place. The main areas of the house, although not particularly clean, were well-appointed. The bedrooms, however, were a disappointment. The bedding was threadbare, and in some cases, torn. The big thing for us - coming from out of the country - was no towels! We were fortunate to have family in the area who could lend us some. The other disappointment was the hot tub wasn’t working. The house is in dire need of maintenance. Cob webs all over (inside & out), garden needs to be weeded. The house had not been cleaned for a long time as there was dust and dead bugs in every room. When I went to vacuum, the bin/canister was full! The windows were filthy. Not sure how fire insurance works in NZ, but no way to escape through bedroom windows in case of emergency. The 1/2 bath is an outdoor toilet with no door or privacy screen. False advertising? This place served our needs - a family wedding.

My husband and I, with my 3 children, spouses and 8 grandchildren absolutely loved our week at Whananaki. It was to celebrate my 70th birthday. The house catered to our needs beautifully with plenty of space for everyone to either do their own thing or together as a big group. The big kitchen and dining area made for a great hub at evening meal times.

It was great to stay with the big group. Beautiful nature and sunrise. Warm and clean place. Most important was the big lounge and living room.
