So - location is great - right on the bay… if you’re solely looking for location only - sure, it’s great. However, the photos definitely make it look nicer than it is. There is no AC and it was 86 degree upon check-in - unit did not get enough breeze to cool down even with all windows open, and there was lots of noise outside. Bed was incredibly poor quality/uncomfortable - cheap mattress and even cheaper polyester sheets and flat pillows. Neighbors flood light shines directly into the bedroom window. Lots of morning noise. So good luck getting any sleep. If you are looking for any sort of comfort do not stay here. Not worth the pricey nightly rate - you are better off staying in a hotel. Also - hosts don’t respond when you vocalize feedback but they’ll happily take your money :)

Very cute cottage next to Mission Bay, perfect for a couple or small family. We’ll stocked kitchen, everything easy to find. Nice to be able to use bikes and skateboards. Great location for walking along the Bay or across the street to the beach.

Best thing about this home is the close proximity to Mission Bay! Just one house away from the boardwalk and sand. The house itself is a little run down, and they could definitely use some simple upgrades like a new rug, drapes and lamps. It was fairly clean, but you can tell it hasn’t had a deep clean in a while. Behind furniture and baseboards were dusty and grimy, rug in the living room seemed pretty grimy. We felt like we couldn’t quite relax due to that, unfortunately. The bath towels are super old and thin, and there were no beach towels available to use. When I asked about getting some, while I did get a quick reply, I was told they can’t put beach towels in the rental because they’ll get taken. I’ve never stayed in a beach rental that didn’t have beach towels available. The bathroom is tiny. There’s a small closet, but no dresser or anything for the rest of our clothes, so we had to keep our suitcases on the floor in the living room. Appreciated the washer/dryer.
