This is an old house built in late Edo period when Samurai and Ninjya are still available. Our guest house, NINCHA is part of Tokoname pottery footpath where popular place to see its 1000years historical sinery, and gallaries, shops, cafe. Foot path has lots of slope and it's like maze, but our place is bottom of it, so it's very easy to come. The location is 5min. walk from Tokoname Station which is 2 stops away from Chubu International Airport(NGO). It's convenient to access to Nagoya as well. The room is on the second floor. There is a great ceiling joint in the loft area, and you can enjoy staying unique to the old house. And it has air conditioning. We prepare thicker mattress instead of a traditional futon on tatami mat for your comfortable sleep. A shower, a washroom and two restrooms are shared by guests.

Great house, everyone is very nice.
Loved my entire month stay. The room was larger than I expected which gave me plenty of room to relax, stretch, and write. The kitchen was well equipped and grocery stores were close by. It made cooking a breeze. Tokoname is a growing place so there was always something to do. The place is right next door to the rail station and Nagoya is a quick ride which gave even more options. 15-minute walk to a beach and the mall and right behind the house there is the pottery trail. A perfect blending of traditional and modern Japan. Didn't expect to have had so much to do in a smaller town. Loved the whole experience. And the owners were quick to respond when anything came up the other guests or any other issue. Loved it and if I am ever in Japan again, this will be the place I stay and recommend to anyone.

Tokoname is a pottery(ceramics) town that is one of Japan's six ancient kilns. There remain some old potteries, and the surrounding area is being maintained as a pottery footpath, such as the Climbing Kiln, pottery shops, grocery stores, and cafes. You can take a leisurely walk around our guest house.
From the airport, it takes 3min. by super express train to Tokoname station. Then 5 min. walk after get off the train.

Please take Meitetsu train of Nagoya Station bounds for Chubu international airport and get off at Tokoname Station. It takes about 30-40 min. by express or super express. You can come directly without any transfer.
>>From Chubu International Airport:
Please take a train from Chubu International Airport and get off at the 2nd stop, Tokoname Station.
If you take a taxi, the fare is around 2,500JPY(10min.)

There are several parking lots nearby. (maximum around 500 yen for 24h). The nearest parking lot is 2min. walk along the main st. between Tokoname station and our nearest convenience store, family mart. It's 100yen/h, maximum 500yen for 24h
