Beautiful house with heated floors in the bathroom and a sauna. View of water from porch was relaxing while sipping coffee listening to the birds chirping . Nature walks into the surrounding wooded trails to water was gorgeous . Easy drive into town , awesome restaurants on the marina. Great place to watch sunsets..

What a great weekend!. The house is beautiful. Even during a winter storm, we felt cozy and warm. If you're going to be stuck inside due to weather this is the house to do it in. The pool table was a nice touch and the steam shower was very therapeutic and relaxing. There is not much of a kitchen, so if you think you're going to make a gourmet dinner, you're not. but with so many great restaurants around you really don't need to. Treat yourself and go out to eat in Rock Hall!

We have stayed at Blissful many times, and it is one of our "winter" escapes. Absolutely beautiful grounds, very quiet and peaceful. Be sure to take the walking trail behind the cottage back to the Bay for some amazing sunset views. The sauna bathroom with heated tile floors, jacuzzi tub and steam shower are amazing and relaxing. Go to Ford's diner in downtown Rock Hall. It is a dive, but great seafood (we always bring the shrimp salad and crab bisque back to the cottage) and awesome greasy breakfast. For finer dining, we love to go in to Chestertown to The Inn at Kitchen Imperial which is probably the nicest restaurant in the area, and we also like the Inn at Osprey Point right in Rock Hall for dinner. Be sure to drive down to Easter Neck Island (10 min drive) to do some walking and hiking. Numerous trails or just walk on the road in the park. We see Eagles almost every time we go and absolutely quiet. Thanks to Barbi for always make us feel welcome!!
