Bright apartment in a central location with easy parking, close to the train and bus station, 10 minutes from the archaeological sites and only 5 minutes from the island of Ortigia. Accommodates up to 6 people. Ideal for families with children and for those who prefer to stay away from the chaos of the historic center without giving up all the essential services and being able to move easily to the main places of interest along the south coast avoiding the traffic of the city. The apartment, totally renovated, is located on the first floor of a lovely building at the south entrance of Syracuse, very close to the train station and bus stop and a step away from all the main tourist attractions: Isola di Ortigia, Archaeological Park , Paolo Orsi Museum, Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Lacrime, Pantheon and Corso Gelone, the commercial heart of the city. Inside the apartment there are two spacious double bedrooms fully furnished, one with a balcony with panoramic views. In the center, between the rooms, the dining room, also with balcony, a small living area, the fully equipped kitchen with an adjoining veranda, ideal for relaxing moments outdoors during the summer, and finally a large and elegant bathroom with minimal style and a large glass shower. Another single bed can be added to one of the rooms on request. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant and relaxing holiday (Wi-Fi, air conditioning and TV in both rooms, washing machine, kitchen accessories, coffee maker, toaster, hairdryer, bed linen, towels bath and essential goods). We can also provide a car bike rack, a car seat for children and a chair lift. The location allows you to take advantage of any kind of service: bars, pizzerias, restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, tobacconists, banks, shops, pharmacies, petrol supplies etc. For those arriving by car, the area offers many possibilities to park for free, as outside the ZTL. In a few minutes you can walk to both the historic center (Ortigia) and the Neapolis district, where you can find the best shops in the city and the archaeological area. Continuing by car to the south, however, you can easily move to discover the most beautiful seaside and tourist resorts of southern Sicily.

Posizione strategica, appena prima delle ZTL, con sotto casa un bar pasticceria per un'ottima colazione. Tutto vicino e a portata di mano. Appartamento grande pulito e dotato di ogni comfort. Unseren Aufenthalt in Siracusa genossen wir in dieser sauberen, detailreich und gut ausgestatteten Wohnung. Besonders das tolle Badezimmer, aber auch die perfekt ausgestattete Küche (es gibt sogar ein Eisfach!) sind erwähnenswert. Der Weg vom Bahnhof ist sehr kurz und gut zu finden. Auch Parkplätze für einen Mietwagen gibt es in der Umgebung. Wir wurden trotz Verspätung des Zuges herzlich empfangen. In der Nähe gibt es einen Supermarkt, mehrere Restaurants und Bäckereien um sich selbst zu versorgen. Ortigia ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar, aber auch Ausflüge in die Umgebung sind gut machbar, weil die Straße aus dem Ort neben dem Haus vorbei führt. Für zwei Personen ist die Wohnung relativ groß und ich würde das nächste Mal das an der Rückseite gelegene Schlafzimmer favorisieren, da die Straße nach vorne doch manchmal recht laut war.

To move you do not need the car. For those arriving from Catania by bus, the bus stop is located just a few dozen meters from the apartment, while the train station is just 200 meters away. All the main points of the city, shops and services are easily accessible on foot.

For this reason, also in love with our city, we have decided to make available to those who want to honor us of their presence an apartment located in a strategic area of Syracuse overlooking the alley Minos. Hence the idea of the name "Il Filo di Arianna" which, in a city like Syracuse, a Greek colony, is linked to the Greek myth of King Minos. We are waiting for you! Ciao, siamo Giuseppe e Itria, una giovane coppia con un bimbo di quattro anni di nome Leonardo. Amiamo viaggiare! Crediamo che viaggiare sia il miglior modo di investire il tempo libero per conoscere nuove realtà allargando gli orizzonti non solo fisici ma anche mentali. Per questo, innamorati anche della nostra città, abbiamo pensato di mettere a disposizione di chi vorrà onorarci della propria presenza un appartamento situato in una zona strategica di Siracusa che si affaccia sul vicolo Minosse. Così nasce l’idea del nome “Il Filo di Arianna” che, in una città come Siracusa, colonia greca, si ricollega al mito greco del Re Minosse. Vi aspettiamo!
