The place was cute and lovingly decorated, but smelled pretty strongly of dog when I arrived. It turned out there was a pretty smelly dog that desperately wanted to barge inside the room every opportunity, so that explained the smell. He spent the first night trying to tear down my door, which made sleep impossible even with earplugs and my noisemaker at full volume. The bed was hard. The floor was grimy and sticky. To my delight, though, the place had its own private bathroom, but the shower was wonky: there was a frog living in it (it found its way back in even though I had carefully placed it outside), the shower head was too low even for a short person like me, hot and cold were reversed, etc. Adam was very slow to respond, but eventually a lady showed up that seemed to know how to run the place. She was sweet, putting out fruit for me when I asked her about the breakfast that was supposed to be included. (Breakfast was not included after all).

I booked this Airbnb thinking of the proximity to Yosemite village. It is tremendously secluded. We checked in late in the night and were greeted by Stephanie and not Adam. It was not communicated. The listing said the bathroom will be shared. But the bathroom door had no lock. bathtub had very dirty stains. The bedsheet & some pillows had stains and a bit of smell. There was no Air conditioning. So it was just cold throughout the night.

Einfach wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr nett unterhalten, wurden gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis am Abend im Kerzenschein bekocht und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Wir möchten uns nochmal für die Mühe, den Service, die Arbeit und vor Allem für den guten Wein, das leckere Essen und die Gastfreundlichkeit bedanken. Am morgen vor der Abreise haben wir frisch gekochten Kaffee bekommen. Die Unterkunft (wir waren in dem Zimmer im "Hauptgebäude") und vor allem der Aufenthaltsraum sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber. Wir haben gut geschlafen und konnten uns vor unserem zweiten Tag im Yosemite Nationalpark sehr gut erholen. Die Unterkunft ist ein bisschen abgelegen aber dafür ist es sehr ruhig. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und würden jederzeit wiedekommen. Vielen vielen Dank! Liebe Grüße von Michaela und Michael

Even though there had been a power cut in the area and it was not easy to communicate with each other it was no problem at all that we arrived very late in the night. Adam welcomed us and tried to make us as comfortable as possible considering the circumstances. That was really nice! We spontaenously stayed a second night, that was really easy and by the late time we arrived back, he had organized food for us, and, although power was still out, prepared it for us hungry travellers. The next day he made breakfast and mapped us out a really nice route to our next destination sending us off the main roads through a scenic route we wouldnt have taken without him. Thank you, it was very enjoyable. I would definitely chose to stay here again
