Best Airbnb we ever stayed at! Wood burning stove and sauna were perfect additions for the holiday ! And we made use of the clothes washer/dryer as well!
We so appreciated our time here - what a beautiful, peaceful place with ALL of the amenities. From sauna to gorgeous linens, radiant floor heating & and wood stove. The cottage is wonderfully cozy with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Our host was kind, super helpful & responsive to every request. We are deeply grateful for our time in the Highlands in this magical place. Thank you!
The Gem Cottage is dreamy and peaceful and very quiet. I enjoyed looking out the window in the morning while drinking coffee and seeing the bunnies, birds and deer. This cottage is magical! It has stunning views, walkable trails along the firth and also to town. This is hands down the cleanest Airbnb I have ever been to. Every item in the cottage seems so well thought out, from all the books about Scotland, to the art, the decor, fireplace and sauna, it was all perfect. I recommend this cottage to anyone seeking peace and quiet, relaxation, nature and just slowing down life for a bit. The cottage is just a couple of minutes from the town store and maybe 10 minutes to many restaurants. Be sure to check out the Fyrish monument and it's stunning views!
Our stay was glorious. Walks along the coastal paths, and the sauna and eating and drinking every night inside the perfectly accessorized cottage….and don’t forget the sheep! Perfect serenity is the Gem Cottage….did I mention Gabrielle is a wonderful host…
The Gem Cottage was a great little place to stay! We really enjoyed all the amenities, the sauna, the huge soaking tub, and the comfy bed. The views of (and from) the Fyrish Monument were fabulous. Great location to let us explore the Highlands while being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage was clean and cozy, the welcome basket and local soaps were a very nice added touch!
