Stated here for 5 nights in April 2024, was amazing. Cabins are on the water, with a jetty and docks with room for 2 boats. We fished, swam, walked into town at the end of the driveway, ate and drank - the highlight being the amazing Swordfish Brewery only 20m from your front foor, and played with the kids at the park which was a little bit further. Amazing location for a family holiday and the cabins themselves were well appointed, clean, and fairly private considering there are 5 near each other. Will definitely stay again!

Love staying here. Calm waters is our go to accommodation in Sussex. Perfectly located next to the inlet for beautiful morning walks and right next to the trendy micro brewery next door for great food and live music in the evening. Check in was easy, bed was comfy and aircon works well both hot and cold for maximum comfort. Libby is always very proactive with communication and friendly to deal with! Thanks Libby! We will be back!

Very calm location, the cottage is cute and there’s more than enough room for four people. The area in general is perfect for a break from the city chaos, and is very easy to reach by car. During the night there might be mosquitos but other than that everything was spot on.

It was a great experience! Nice and clean place. If the owner fix a few things can be even grater: bedroom locks and toilet lock were not functional. And the cleaners: they started mowing the lawn early which interrupted our peaceful morning sleep and they kept reminding us about the time of leave which we already knew. And please change the pet policy: clearly mention cats are not allowed to avoid any confusion. Thanks for the great experience. We had fun and loved the place. Looking to book the place and the neighboring cottages again with a big group of relatives.

Libby’s place is in great location. Peaceful with beautiful view, great for walking, sitting outside looking at literally calm waters while you’re having morning coffee. Having smart TVs was great, we could watch Netflix with our own account at night. Fairly comfortable beds. Just needs a few improvements, the major issue was the bathroom door was not closing properly and definitely couldn’t be locked. Also an oven tray would be useful as there was functioning oven there. I would also suggest changing the check in and check out time. I think 3 pm check in is a bit late and 10 am check out is too early. every place I’ve been check in has been 2 pm and check out 11 am and a lot of hosts have been quite flexible . However, they gave us more time to check out as we slept in and weren’t ready at 10 so we appreciate it. We had a lovely time though and the location was fabulous, exactly what we needed. Thanks to the host for let us enjoy the place.
