Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le cadre est magnifique, une vue superbe sur la plage depuis le balcon. La mer est vraiment belle avec de jolis poissons. L'appartement est très propre et fonctionnel. La taverne juste à côté est délicieuse, et le personnel est adorable. Nous avons pris des plats à emporter, on s'est régalés. Merci Anna pour votre gentillesse et vos recommandations, nous retenons l'adresse pour de prochaines vacances en Crête.

We loved our time at Anna's. It is quite beautiful, the beach and swimming are lovely. It is close to a number of other fascinating and beautiful places. The surrounding landscape is magnificent and endlessly engaging. In the interests of specificity, however, and the only reason I gave accuracy of a description 4 rather than 5 stars, is because you should know that there is only ONE building at Skinaria, and that both the tavernas referenced are actually in the same building, one upstairs and one directly downstairs, which may affect your peace and quiet. Fortunately, it only affected ours minimally (mid-May), and we loved the proprietors of the upstairs taverna, Gianns and Sirma, and ate almost all our meals there, which were delicious.

Einfach nur fantastisch! Die Wohnung ist klein aber fein, Anna eine sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und unkomplizierte Gastgeberin, und die wunderschöne Bucht mit einem gemütlichen Strand und tollen Spaziermöglichkeiten auf die umliegenden Felsen waren gemütlich, super zum Schnorcheln, und das beste: wenn abends die Taverne schliesst, gehörte uns die Bucht ganz allein! Alles super!

This is our second year here and it was equally enjoyable. The place was spotless and very well equipped, with extra touches such as Danish toasts, butter and jam as well as lovely big beach towels. Anna got in touch on our second day to check all was ok and that we were happy with the apartment. We will definitely be back.

This really is a stunningly beautiful place to stay - a real gem! Crystal clear turquoise water, well organised beach and good snorkelling! All this set against the most beautiful mountain backdrop and many hillside paths to walk, with the company of the mountain goats! This beautiful place is isolated and not for you if you want night life. It is also approached by a steep, winding narrow road which takes a little getting used to and driving with extreme care. You can drive to some lovely nearby locations or it’s a 3km to walk into the nearest village (a hilly walk but incredibly beautiful with amazing views). Anna was the perfect host - so responsive and helpful and the apartment was beautifully clean with lovely personal touches of homemade marmalade, raki, wine and coffee - so thoughtful. A choice of 2 tavernas at Skinaria tho only one open til 7pm but it served good local food and the people were very welcoming and really looked after us. I would go back in a heartbeat!
