I can highly recommend this place. Comfy bed, private room, good heat, view of the city, close to bus/tour pickups, grocery store, the Perlan Museum, and walkable to the major city attractions. The stairs are a bit steep but I managed and I'd stay here again.

I had a fantastic 10-day stay at John's place. John was always quick to respond to any questions I had. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view from the window. The heater worked exceptionally well. Both the shared kitchen and bathroom were consistently clean and well-maintained. The internet connection was fast and reliable, which was essential for my work. While the location is a bit away from the city center, it's still within walking distance. There are two bus stops and a small convenience store nearby, making it convenient for daily needs. Additionally, the Bus Hostel, a common meeting point for many tours and airport drop-offs, is just a short distance away. This made it incredibly easy for me to join tours. The Perlan Museum is also close by, and I had the opportunity to visit it twice during my stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. I highly ohn's place to anyone visiting the area.

John received us very friendly and was helpful with all we needed. Communication was great. His flat is a very accesible 25 minute walk to the city where you will find attractions, bars, restaurants, grocery stores and lots of things to do. The flat was very spacious, our room was perfect for 2 and the kitchen had everything you can need on a stay. I would definitely stay again at John’s place.

I contacted John before I traveled to Iceland and he was very thoughtful and considerate responding my questions. I arrived before the check in time and John was happy about it; which was a great help for me. John showed me the surroundings on the way to the supermarket and off licenses. After that we did not meet again actually due to the day trips I had every day when I had to leave home very early morning and got home late night. John’s place is in a very handy location for those who are not staying in city center, which is only 30 minute walk away. I highly recommend John as a host, he is a very nice fellow, and his place is very good for a lone traveler.

John is a very friendly person, he stood and waited for me at the door when I got to his Airbnb which helped me a lot, it's easy to get to the city centre and there's a large park around there. The room is clean, the kitchen and the shower are decent as well, and the heater was on all day so it was super warm in the room. I enjoyed staying there, thank you so much!!!
