5 out of 5 stars! great price, close to beaches, quiet private room near good food and plenty of parks. Paul is an exceptional host- expert chess player who gives great lessons and guide for a hot springs/hiking adventure. highly recommend!

You have your own simple room. You share the house with Paul and maybe another person, but mostly I was alone. I used Uber to get around. It was very convenient. Paul is not a television person, but he'll turn it on if you ask. There is access to a kitchen. Paul gave me a number of ideas of things to do and where to go. There are three wonderful dogs. The house is in a neighborhood that is very safe, but can get noisy. I enjoyed San Juan del Cabo once I figured out where to go. Plenty of restaurants in Centro along with lots of art galleries. I have a fund stay

I enjoyed my 2+ week stay with Paul, Cami, and the three pups. We became friends and I immediately fell in love with one of the pups, Julek, who is a beautiful and affectionate husky. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, except a neighbor's dog who occasionally barks at odd hours during the night. I went to the Center (el Centro) often - it was an easy (9-11 minutes) and affordable Uber ride. I was given a whole shelf in the fridge for my food. We survived the hurricane together, too. Paul checked in with me often and is a gracious host. He is attentive, caring, and all-around a wonderful human! We planned to go hiking together but the hurricane derailed our plans. I highly recommend that you stay with Paul, especially if you're into surfing and adorable dogs! He is an avid surfer. Cami, who lives next to the guestroom, is super sweet and friendly.
