I visited with two friends, in celebration of my 60th birthday. We wanted to relax, find peace and laugh together in tranquil surroundings. We have busy lives and found all of this, and so much more. The beautiful cottage, the wonderful sauna, the endearing animals, the inspiring gardens…and the warmth and generous welcoming from Maureen and Mike, were gifts that kept on coming. We left feeling totally rejuvenated and thoroughly grateful. Truly wonderful, in every way!

What a beautiful place and close to local activities. The house is stunning and we really enjoyed our stay . The hosts were lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend

We’ve had a wonderful few days at Maureen’s. Maureen was incredibly helpful and had so many lovely touches to make us feel welcome! The house has a fantastic kids area that my girls (6 & 8) loved. It was great having the horses outside and swings/trampoline too. It was a short visit so we didn’t manage to take advantage of the sauna…maybe next time!! 🥰 Thanks Maureen & Mike x

We stayed in this lovely cottage for 3 nights with some good friends. Maureen and Mike were warm, friendly and very helpful. The cottage was top notch and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The kids loved the playroom and had plenty to keep them entertained! Thanks again to you both for everything.

Thank you Maureen and Mike for the most idyllic stay in your gorgeous cottage. Loved the wood fired horsebox sauna and the lovely lady hens clucking about the place. You were kind, hospitable and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you again.
