This 2 bedroom house has great spaces, full kitchen, dining & living room. The home is located in Boscobel Heights overlooking the sea. You can get to the beach within 2 minutes, Capital City Port Maria in 20 minutes and tourist mecca Ocho Rios within 15 minutes. This is a truly traditional country residence. It was recently updated with modern touches in the kitchen and bathroom. There are tiled floors with an airy flowing feel to the home. There's a veranda and a laundry area with a washing machine but no dryer. There is an air conditioner in the bedrooms and a back patio.

Our stay at Jamil's place was even better than expected. The home was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The location was excellent. We were close to attractions and restaurants without the hassle of staying in town. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Annette greeted us on arrival and let us know that she lives right down and the street and was only a phone call if we needed anything. Check out went just as smoothly as check in. We will definitely be returning to stay again
I really enjoyed my stay at Jamil’s place, everything that is needed for a comfortable stay was available and working efficiently. Very strong AC and WiFi and Hot water. This home is located in a scheme that is about a 10 minute taxi drive to Ocho Rios for $200 JA less than $2 USD. If you have to walk out of the scheme to catch a ride it is a ten minute walk to the main road. The taxi price from there is about $170. The town the house is located in is about a 2 min drive once your out of the scheme. Supermarkets and local restaurants etc are accessible there.
It is a very nice little place. We were in Jamaica for a funeral so the place was a good value. The area is nice and it feels safe. The care taker Annette is very kind and helpful. We would stay again.
This is the 2nd time Jamil has hosted me, and like the first time...my expectations were exceeded. Definitely a super host, place was amazingly clean. The bathroom was my favorite room in the house. Will definitely continue to book with Jamil whenever I visit Jamaica!

The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and is mainly populated by returning Jamaican residents who have retired from the US, UK and Canada. At the end of your stay, you will have experienced what old time country Jamaica is like.

I like to travel and am currently counting over 40 different cities visited. I've spent extended time in London, DC, Cape Town, Rome, Zurich and Kingston. My travel style is wide and varied. Depending on the situation, I may opt to go uber luxury or budget backpack style. I'm comfortable either way.
