The Sutherland Family of Sibmister Farm would like to introduce to you Braeside Retreats: a brand-new collection of bespoke luxury accommodation pods handcrafted by skilled local tradesmen. Surrounded by fields of our sheep and cows, breathe in that fresh Caithness air and relax in the tranquillity of the countryside. Each spacious pod includes a king sized bed, 6-seater hot tub and private decked terrace, outdoor furniture and BBQ to make the most of the spectacular view. Nestled in the hillside between the small bustling highland town of Thurso and the small historic village of Castletown, Braeside Retreats lies in natural beauty spot with spectacular views overlooking the Pentland Firth and Orkney. The site is very family friendly and has its own children’s play area which includes a trampoline, swing set with a baby swing for wee ones, a sandpit, and a tower with slide and bucket pulley. We wish to offer children the opportunity to run around safely, bring a football or a kite to take advantage of our wide-open spaces and big skies. There is a fire-pit with communal seating area where we encourage families to hunt for kindling in the near-by forest and build a fire where they can toast marshmallows underneath the stars. Two of our pods are available for you to take your four-legged friend with you. As animal lovers and dog owners we are delighted to welcome dogs to the site.
