Peaceful location with breathtaking views of the mountains and lake. Has everything you need from shower gel to washing detergent and a fully stocked kitchen with a few non perishable food items left to use like herbs and tinned foods. Great coffee machine too! Enjoyed the hot tub looking out at the picturesque scenery and the underfloor heating for cold mornings. If you’re looking for a remote quiet house only 15 minutes from the action of Queenstown this is perfect. One thing to note, we had no phone reception there but the WiFi was strong.

We loved staying at Bridget's place. The house itself was not only big and beautifully designed but also exuded an air of elegance and comfort. The interior was tastefully decorated, with high ceilings, large windows that framed the picturesque views. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook delicious meals which we enjoyed either indoors at the elegant dining area or outside while enjoying amazing views of lake and mountains. The outdoor space was equally enchanting, featuring a spa and a fire pit surrounded by comfortable seating, perfect for cozying up on cool evenings under the starlit sky.

Beautiful location, with fantastic hosts. A great base while exploring Queenstown area. Super easy self check-in. Loved our stay, and the view was amazing.

My family of 8 stayed 4 nights at this house at the end of our 2 week road trip. The house is nicer than what the listing showed but it is 15 mins out of queenstown downtown and on a steep hill. The view from the house is out of the world and we enjoyed the jacuzzi in the backyard as well. Bridget was easy and friendly to communicate with. Check in was easy and the house is very clean. There are 2 separate living areas, one with a tv and kids did a bunch of movie nights. The upstairs mater bedroom does get hot in the summer with sky windows and metal roof and we learned to set the air conditioning low towards the end of the trip. The house has very good internet with advanced multiple access points. We did barbecue and fully enjoyed eating in. One unadvertised benefits is that the Milky Way is fully visible by naked eyes if you turn off all the lights at night on a clear day. We’d highly recommend this house and would love to come back in the future.
