Séjour idéal, au calme aux portes de Sarlat ( à pied ) . très belle vue sur Sarlat. Belle piscine chauffée appréciable en septembre , billard et Jacuzzi (cerise sur le gâteau ) Sophie et Jean Yves très à l écoute. Nous avons passés un superbe séjour entre amis.

We absolutely loved this place! Jean and Sophie were fantastic hosts and realy went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. We would recommend this place to all and we hope to return at some point in the future. We are a family of 4 including 2 children under 4. The space was fantastic, there is a large patio area directly outside the house which had secure railing and gate which kept our toddlers safe and away from the pool meaning we could let them roam freely without worrying... The pool is unreal! Temperature was perfect for us in May and its a great size. Its the same depth throughout with steps at one end. My 4 year old daughter and I spent a lot of time in there! Also a separate toilet and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer were just next to the pool. We didn't use the hot tub much, probably because of the kids, we would have loved to see this up on the top level next to the house for us to relax in during the evenings! The walk to the town center took a leisurely 7 minutes. There's a path at the bottom of the drive, it's a little overgrown and steep but we managed fine with a double buggy loaded with 2 children. The walk along the road took us around 15 mins so either route is no problem. The view from the house across town is beautiful and the sunsets are incredible. The house and grounds are very private with no windows overlooking other than those in the very distance across the town. We hired a car for our stay and Sarlat was a great central location for our trip. Many beautiful château's to see and quaint villages a short drive away (if you can peel yourselves away from from the pool!) All 4 bedrooms are a great size with large and comfortable beds. Two upstairs and two downstairs. There is also a double futon on the large landing and a sofa bed in the lounge. Our daughter slept on a single futon and our 18 month old son in the cot which had a very comfortable mattress. We would love to come back with friends and make the most of all the space.
