Beautifull felt right at home. Excellent location 1min walk to the beach! Will definitely book again for me next trip to Varadero.

Location was great. You can jump on the 2 story bus right at the corner. Wifi is not too close but you can walk there. Wifi cards to purchase on 15th street, also have lots of little stands on the main street for souvenirs.

negative: they don't serve breakfast or dinner, although they write that they do (There' a great place for breakfast "vernissage", it's a 15 minutes walk). The casa can be found by the name "Casa Gladys" on G-Maps. Don't know, why the don't use that name on airbnb. Gladys is the mother of Enrique (who we saw only very briefly), she lives on the compound and showed us around. She speaks Spanish, only. The room is ok. There 's a TV but not applicable. There's a good airco and fridge. It's not possible to open the window, but that's ok, since the door has mosquito protection gaze, so we left it open at night. The bath room is quite large and has hot water but poor water pressure. There's a small pool and a nice outdoor shower, for getting rid off the beach sand. The neighbourhood is very very quiet. I had the best sleep here, the mattress is not too hard and not too soft. There's no safe in the room. There's a great restaurant, right next door (vaca rosado) and it's only a five minutes walk to the beach. Most restaurants are from Calle 42-62. The apartment is in Calle 21. To calle 60, it's 10 minutes by motorbike taxi and costs 4-5$. We had no further contact to or support from Gladys and Enrique, which was ok for us. There's a large outdoor kitchen and dining table, but it wasn't available. There's a big hammock in the courtyard.

Very nice room in a quiet area! The host was really nice! I highly recommend the place but if you want to go out at night it’s a little bit faraway from downtown Varadero (walking distance) !
