We really enjoyed our 3-week stay with Mohammed and Nagette. They were delightful hosts! Quick to meet whatever needs we had, offer suggestions, and share their home and culture. Our kids enjoyed the apartment as well, as it was equipped with some toys and books! All in all, a delightful stay, safe and quiet, in a beautiful area just a block from the ocean. This home met all our needs and we would stay here again!

If you are coming to Tunisia, then this is the place to book! The downstairs apartment of a beautiful villa is really spacious! Three bedrooms, living room, dining room two bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen. But that’s not the best part. Your host will be Mohamad and Najette, Who are very friendly, and kind and went out of their way to make our stay totally amazing. Both were very helpful and getting us around town and provided us with everything we needed. They are genuine people that you will fall in love with it immediately. As for the location, we literally are 100 m from the sea, 100 m from a 50 m pool that offers lap swimming, and a short walk to a bustling little town with plenty of shops, banks, restaurants, and gelato. We are also very close to the local train station which can take you directly into downtown Tunis or continue on to the Roman ruins in Cartage and the picturesque Hiltop town of Sidi Bou Said. Plan to stay longer than three days. You will be glad you did!

It is a huge appartement with three rooms (master bedroom and two rooms for children), two bathrooms (completely renovated and in excellent shape), a big saloon and a big kitchen. You live in the ground floor of a pretty and solid house, the landlords live on the first floor. There is a well groomed garden aroud the house and you will see now and then one of the cats living in the garden sitting in front of your windows. Mohamed and his wife are very friendly and helpful with everything. If you're lucky you can also get some of their home-made olive oil which is so tasty. They made my stay really great. Essarah is in the southern suburbs of Tunis and it is a quiet residential area. To me it was a safe haven from the inner city hustling and bustling. You can take a taxi that will bring you to Tunis center in 20-30 minutes for 10-12 Dinar (3-4 EURO). The appartement has central heating, which was functionning well in the colder nights in the end of October.
