14414 - Anchors Away: Next to Bike Trail & National Seashore! Walk through the front door of our home to find a large, open and updated living room with comfortable seating and a flat screen TV - a space where the whole family can relax and unwind together after a beautiful day at one of Eastham's nearby bay or ocean beaches. The living room flows into a dining area with seating for eight, and into a fully equipped kitchen with island seating. The slider off the dining room leads to the deck area, where you will find outdoor seating with an umbrella for shade and a gas grill, as well as a large private yard and outdoor shower. The first floor of our home also features the master bedroom with a queen bed, a laundry area with a washer and dryer, and a full bathroom. Walk downstairs to the basement if you want to play some pool, or upstairs to the second floor to find two more bedrooms, one with a full bed and the other (a lofted bedroom) with two twins. Sit on the deck in the morning sun with a good book and your coffee, hop on your bike and go for a ride on the nearby Cape Cod Rail Trail, or enjoy the Wellfleet Drive-in Movie Theater, only 5-minutes away! Be central to everything that Cape Cod is! Other amenities include WiFi, cable TV, and window A/C units in all bedrooms. Fresh linens and bath towels are also provided free of charge, and the beds will be made upon your arrival. Don’t forget to bring your dog along too! Del Mar was very responsive and allow us to check in early. The location of the house is great for visiting national seashore. We enjoyed our stay.
Clean home exactly as described. Pet friendly. Perfect for our group of 4 adults + 1 dog. Love the proximity to the CC Rail Trail. The deck was a nice feature but would be even better with some additional seating. Large garage was great for our bike storage. Though on a busier road, neighborhood was quiet. Beds are older but weren’t as uncomfortable and squeaky as reviewed. The loft twin beds are fairly private, but do have a skylight that beams into them early in the morning. A sleep mask would be a nice asset for that space. Delmar’s team was very responsive, but I did get a lot of repetitive, canned messages via AirBnB, text, email, AND phone call.
Great stay, worth the price. Would have given 5 stars, but beds are dated, to be nice. crazy loud squeaking even just softly adjusting your position in bed. I wish there was also garbage bags left for us, as that was not stated in the listing. Back of house AC unit drips water right over the door, but not a deal breaker
Great location, in relation to beaches & bike trail, & rt 6. Spacious home, but the downstairs bedroom and master had a strong musty / water rot type smell. Back slider didn’t have a handle so it was difficult to use the large deck and access the beautiful yard from inside the house. Rooms were spacious & clean but beds were incredibly uncomfortable, so much so we left a day early!! The downstairs bedroom bed in particular was very rickety, squeaky, with a thin mattress. If the beds were upgraded this would’ve been a different experience for sure!
