Endroit très paisible..reposant..
La maison de William était parfaite pour notre séjour. Le très beau sentier Island Fox Trail passe tout près donc c’était facile de le prendre sans même se déplacer en voiture, et la vue était superbe. Mais que dire de la Sherwink Trail à seulement 10 minutes de la maison!!! Phénoménal! Quelle beauté! Nous la suggérons à tous. Plusieurs autres activités à faire dans le secteur de la Baie Bonavista. À chaque soir le retour à la maison était chaleureux. Tout était parfait. Merci William!
My wife and I has really liked William’s appartment. We stayed there only 3 nights, but we could have spent a month. The view from the balcony is amazing. Everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy and unique place. Experienced the full range of the North Atlantic weather. Arrived on a sunny day, and felt perfectly tucked in with the wind and rain blowing around the sealoft the next day. Woke to the sounds of foghorns on our last morning. The surroundings are incredible and I enjoyed hiking the Fox Island trail right on the doorstep a couple of times. We loved the thoughtful attention to detail at he Sealoft - from local artwork, to music CDs of Nfld artists, and my fave was a book of photography and rhymes/ reflections on this enchanting part of the coast. Great home base for exploring the Bonavista peninsula. Highly recommend this place.

This recent review sums up why I build this place. “The serenity of this place is worth its weight in gold. The view of the small fishing village, the sound of the waves on the rocks, the seagulls above the "piers", the wind between the valleys have their positive effects on our souls.” I am a proud Newfoundlander! My first 6 years of life were blissfully spend on Merasheen Island. My family were forced to resettle in 1968 and we moved to Marystown where I spend the next 13 years and resettlement was a tangled web that left me and my soul adrift. I watched the movie the Shipping News and decided to visit. A visit to the Trinity Bight in 2006 area made a lasting impression and I now have a house called the Storeloft for the past five years as a tribute to my roots since 1723 on Merasheen Island. To paraphrase my brother’s great poem he wrote...Newfoundland sings to me....I live in Victoria, BC but Newfoundland is my home. My Sealoft is my way to showcase the province I love.Welcome all !
