This was a fantastic place to stay for my husband and I. If you want to stay in Paris in a quiet apartment in a quiet area of the city, this is the place for you. We were surrounded by shops and restaurants, but I never felt like I was living in a busy city. This apartment is on the island of St. Louis. It is a five minute walk to the Notre Dame cathedral, and a little less than 10 minutes to bus stops and the nearest Metro. There is a coffee shop and little grocery store pretty much right below this apartment. We felt safe in this neighborhood, even walking at night. Céline was a very thoughtful host and we were allowed to drop off our luggage the morning of arrival while the apartment was being cleaned for us. This was much appreciated. Pros: Location! Very quiet area, surrounded by shops and restaurants Large area for storing your clothes Shower had hot water and good water pressure (hand held shower head) Host is very responsive Cons: Three flights of stairs with no elevator

Loved the location of Céline’s place. Several restaurants and grocery stores close by. Easy walk to different metro lines and sites. Place was very clean and roomy.

It was perfect! So central and Celine was so responsive and helpful - even let us keep our bags in the apartment for the whole day when our check out was that morning, as we had a late flight and there were no new guests! Thank you!
