The accommodation and position were delightful. We enjoyed the quietness and all the lovely touches that Helen had to make us welcome and comfortable. The birds came in for birdseed and we could sit quietly under a lovely rug and enjoy their company. At night we could sit around the fire with a wine and nibbles and enjoy the peace. Plenty of bedding, warm and comfortable seating. Especially enjoyed, music selection, games and extra goodies. Went into the area for a couple of great meals and enjoyed the cheese & apple factories. Great options in an easy drive. Commend our hosts on a lovely venue and great care of guests. Kristina
the cottage was amazing and every need was catered for it is extremely well appointed with all you could need to self-cater. it is very cozy and homely but spotless at the same time fully recommend a stay here with Helen. the location and the colorful parrots in the morning were lovely as is the opportunity to have a fire outside. there are even blankets provided for use outside on the deck and lovely throws on the sofas inside.
Another great stay at the cottage. It’s so relaxing and love watching the bird life, got some good night sky photos this time too. Tried the local Japanese restaurant in at Stanthorpe, this time and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend.
lovely cosy cottage with all the amenities. we watched the birds, relaxed on the lawn to enjoy the cows , drove to nearby parks and wineries and enjoyed the fire pit in the evening . perfect escape from the city
such a relaxing place. spotlessly clean. beautiful & thoughtful attention to detail went into curating the space. very polish soft furnishings. & even an amazing selection of toys, puzzles & lego for the little guests!

Hi guests, my husband and I own a 9 hectare farm which overlooks the hills and valleys of farmland and bush. We have abundant bird life, and native species, I have a long history of working with the public, having owned and operated many small businesses. I’m currently a retired chef with still a keen interest in my industry. I dapple in sculpture and painting. I love tending my garden with lots of fruit trees and veggies. We have two pet dogs.
