Sequoia National Park/King's Canyon entrance is 20 miles away on a scenic drive. At our ranch, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada foothills.The ranch is surrounded by orange groves, cattle ranches and wide open spaces. We are a real working ranch, devoted to showing guests the great central valley farm country. You will be staying in a lovely suite including bedroom, living/den room, kitchenette and bathroom, all private. The bedroom featuring a huge king size bed,a large closet and tasteful furnishings. From your room, you will enjoy a pictueresque view of the swimming pool and surrounding hills .The living room/ den and bathroom and bedroom also have their own private entrances . Kitchenette features an apartment size refrigerator where you can keep your own cool drinks or snacks. An al fresco cooking space on your private back patio includes a three burner cook top, microwave oven, toaster and small oven. The coffee/hot drink maker are in the inside kitchenette sink area along with all the dishes and utensils you will need. A charcoal bbq are all set up for your use only. The back porch is screened for shade and has a couch , two rocking chairs, a gas fire pit and full size table with four chairs. Your private bathroom with shower is en-suite . A shared Laundry room is steps away off north porch. The Living room/ den features a sleeper sofa , desk, and dinning area. The 55” HDTV is Wi-Fi connected, Bluetooth enabled and has phone app communication capability to allow guests to watch favorite shows. All suite rooms are accessible by interior and separate exterior entrances, Covered parking right outside your suite. The host is a fitness/dance professional and a champion equestrian, who will be happy to lead you in a dawn yoga class or evening pilates session, ( special guest pricing for personal training).The studio/gym is equipped with weight, mirrors, yoga mats, big balls, kettlebells, punching bags, most everything you need to get a good workout. The swimming pool provides a relaxing area for exercise and relaxation, evening fires in the pit for stargazing.. Everyone loves to feel like a kid by jumping on the oversized trampoline or laying on it at night to stargaze. Take a bike ride or a stroll on our private country lanes. The surrounding rolling hills offer endless hiking opportunities. After a day touring the Park, come home to a campfire. All activities mentioned above are "on site" for the ultimate in convenience! We strive to maintain our ranch home site in an organic way and grow our own fruits and vegetables.We use solar to help power the ranch. We also raise our own chickens, as well as grass-fed beef. Your doggie is welcome for a $35 fee per stay fee . We provide a large covered. kennel you can see from your room. Please ask us for details and doggie rules. You can dine at one of the nearby gourmet, or casual, restaurants in either Exeter or Visalia, about 10-15 minutes away from the ranch! Visalia has the most gourmet restaurants of any city its size in the U.S. Monets and Cafe Lafayette in Exeter are a bit of Paris right in the middle of rural California farm country. Tour around Exeter and see the renowned murals on the sides of the buildings, depicting past life in the small farm town. Eclectic shops and artist galleries are on the way to the Park in Three Rivers. For dining upscale or casual, including an extensive wine list and creative cocktails and a champagne Sunday brunch The Gateway is the place. It is a few yards from the entrance to Sequoia, with a great view of the river. Just 6 miles from the ranch, you can visit Lake Kaweah, where you can rent a house boat for the day. and swim or fish. What time of year should you experience Spring Hill Ranch. The Summer is the best for swimming and spending time in the Sequoias.,Fall is my favorite, the trees are beautiful and the heat is not so intense. The Park, in what we call Indian summer, or Autumn has a hint of crispness in the air, I find it very peaceful. Also it is not so crowded . Winter, in the Park is a winter wonderland, and in the valley it is cool and green. Perfect campfire weather. Spring time, the hills are green and full of flowers and you only need a light sweater, sometimes just a T shirt.
