We really enjoyed our stay in Michelle’s cosy town house, right on the harbour wall. It was fascinating to watch the tide ebb and flow and each evening we watched a few fishermen try their luck…. Better than watching TV! 6 days of glorious weather were a bonus, enabling us to stroll to restaurants - we ate at Yr Hen Fecws twice ( you need to book), the Yacht Club (burgers, pasta and pizza) and the Golf Club (excellent food). Michelle stayed in touch with us throughout our stay and responded very swiftly when we had an enquiry. Our only challenge in the accommodation was that the bathroom is really, really small - the photo does indicate this accurately. We can recommend the train ride down the coast to Aberdovey - it’s beautiful - the train stops at the golf club… perfect for lunch and a walk on the fantastic beach before heading back.

A lovely little place with a wonderful view from the upstairs room. Lots to do in the local area. It was a shame we had bad weather so couldn't explore as much as we'd have liked to but still had a lovely time.

This was a great little flat with a beautiful view of the harbor and just the right size for our family of three. Very conveniently located - just a short walk to restaurants and stores and close to the historic train station. The flat was recently renovated and very clean and had pretty much everything we needed for our stay. Michelle sent a wonderful list of recommendations ahead of time as well, for pubs, shopping, walks, etc. Definitely recommend!

This cottage really is the perfect place for a quiet, comfortable and cosy holiday. Immaculately clean, the cottage is very comfortably furnished, all the bedding, cutlery and crockery is of a high standard and there is everything you could possibly want for your holiday. However, the aspect that really sets this place apart is its location on the river estuary. There are ever changing stunning views from the living room where you can watch the many types of waterfowl and listen to their calls as they feed along the river’s edge. Although not far from all Porthmadog’s many amenities, the cottage is very quiet and private, just perfect for getting away from it all. Michelle is the ideal host, responding quickly to messages and providing a lot of very helpful information. We were there in early January and were warm and comfortable - we very much hope to return.
