We booked at the very last minute as our previous booking fell through the evening before we travelled (due to a water leak). As such, options were limited and we were unable to get accommodation in the area that we wanted, although this was absolutely not the fault of Kathleen, who was responsive from the outset, very quick to get back to us and very accommodating. We felt that Kathleen wanted us to enjoy our stay and went out of her way to keep us informed. The listing was presented honestly. I know that there have been some poor reviews but the listing is accurate and we think the price charged is reasonable for what is offered. Beds were comfortable, heating was hot, hot water was plentiful. Parking was easy, Check-in painless. Our only regret was that we were a bit far from the activities that we were doing but, had we been in the area to mountain-bike the location would have been superb. We did have a great meal in the local pub. Thank you Kathleen.

During the night we were woken by large pieces of plaster falling off the downstairs ceiling. The stair carpet is badly stained and old. There was a strong smell of urine from the bathroom carpet. There were stains along the skirting board and a large crack in the bathroom wall. Walls upstairs are grubby and the wallpaper is peeling in many places.

It was only for me and my boy whilst house hunting so was here for nearly three weeks in total but would be a bargain for four adults. It’s an old property and had a few patches that do with a bit of attention but ideal for us especially the pool table as was a bit wet for a while!! Scenery is breathtaking and if you bring a bike some impressive trails near by!

Very helpful and immediately responsive if we had a question. Felt very supported as air bb quite new to us. Property was clean and comfortable with everything we needed.
