We had a lovely time at Giannis apartment. We used the apartment as our base for hiking the Trodos mountain range - lots of very beautiful trails nearby. Everything was as Giannis described it. The view in the morning is fabulous. A bakery and lots of restaurants are in close walking distantance. Please be awareness that even tho the apartment has a small kitchen, there is no oven

This was our first visit to Cyprus and was not sure whether to stay by the coast or not. After much thought and questions to the owner we decided to try Omodos because of its central position. This turned out to be a brilliant decision. Pathos is nice but the rest of the coastline Larnaca, Limassol etc are ghastly. Omodos is a traditional Greek village with a square of little restaurants, a bakery and lots more. There are literally dozens of walks from the house. The house has a front garden where you can sit, have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening looking up to the mountains and over to the vineyards. It is immaculate inside, just newly built. It has a king size bed and when you wake in the morning from upstairs your view looks over the vineyard. Giannis is the perfect host. They have a house next door and check to make sure you are ok asking if you want to try one of her homemade fantastic desserts. Don’t look for other places this house is sensational

We chose Omodos as a base to explore the surrounding Troodos mountains and this place was perfect! We had self check in which was really easy and the place was so clean and had everything we needed. Giannis was always quick to answer any questions we had, highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning place in a quiet spot on the edge of the village, with great views to wake up to over the vineyards. Giannis was extremely helpful in providing local information. We stayed in March when the area was quiet, so most restaurants close by 5 or 6, but Themelio’s on the square was open until 7 with delicious beef casserole and slow roast lamb. On our last night we had an amazing meze at Stou Kir Yianni which is open in the evenings. There was also live music from 9pm. Thoroughly enjoyed our wine tastings at the local vineyards too! Oenou Yi had our favourite Maratheftiko wine (local grape).
