Richardson is a gracious and friendly host. He was always responsive with communication. We had the taco dinner and arranged a tour of Antelope Canyon and storytelling. We really enjoyed the tour, which was more personal and private than signing up with a tour group. It was an honour to receive the Richardson’s storytelling about the land and Navajo way of life. The hogan was warm with the fire going and we enjoyed the deep quiet and dark night sky to stargaze. Very beautiful and peaceful landscape to rest in. Thank you Richardson for your hospitality!

This place is good for star gazing but not good for a city girl (which is me). The owner mentioned in the intro that the internet signal is good but in fact nothing is received which is definitely a lie. Therefore we didn’t stay overnight, just for a while and we decided to give up. There’s no mirror, no towel, no bathroom but a public toilet. They only provide very few bottles of water, breakfast (I didn’t take that) and a simple chair/bed for sleep, outdoor bbq seat and that’s all. The host is still nice and helpful, it's just that the price is way higher than the value. You can easily find a place for star gazing in Page with better prices. If you want to stay there, I strongly recommend you to bring all the things you need, if not your stay will gonna be a completely wild one.
This was a one-of-a-kind chance to experience a night in the beautiful wilderness outside Page. The hogans are pretty deep into the desert next a canyon with gorgeous views and a hiking trail outside your door. Richardson was a very friendly and gracious host; we were surprised to learn that breakfast was included with our stay! The hogan was clean and pretty comfy despite the lack of electricity-- its structure and construction, and a stove, keep it warm in the night. Note that tours of Antelope canyon are not included with the stay, but you can book them very easily as part of the package, along with dinner. Highly recommend.

Lechee, Arizona kééhash'į, ahéhee'. Hello, my family and my friends. I am Richardson Etsitty. I am born for the Black Streak Wood people clan and Rock Gap Clan from my father. My grandfather's, my mother's father, clan is Deer Spring and my Nali's, my father's mother, clan is The Towering House people. I reside in Lechee, Arizona, thank you and I am very grateful. I've lived on the Navajo reservation my entire life, without electricity and running water. I grew up exploring the canyons in my backyard with my siblings, hiking, herding livestock and finding new places to fill our time. There was never a worry from our parents as we were always close by, the land around us took care of us as we roamed free. As I grew up, I appreciated the beauty of the surrounding area. The infamous Antelope Canyon was less than a mile away and provided me with my first job when I was only 8 years old as a tour guide. I appreciated the natural beauty of the canyon and the stories it told and was able to share that with guests from around the world. Working in the canyon for many years helped me develop my passion for photography and sharing the story of my native people. As I build this company, my guest's experiences are my number one priority. The Hogan has not only given us a place to call home but an opportunity to continue to better ourselves every time we step into one. We sleep in the security of ourselves and our ancestors and we wake in harmony and peace. I wish the same healing on others as I have experienced myself. My hope for the future is a better understanding of where the Navajo people come from. A hope of acceptance of all cultures, to understand the background of the person standing next to me in a crowded room. I hope to share this with everyone, experience this for yourself.
