The horseshoe barn was the perfect accommodation for our stay in the Mendips, Somerset. The hosts were really friendly, welcoming and relaxed. We ordered food from the farm and its certainly did not disappoint, incredibly high quality fresh produce. The hall area is huge and the bar area provided a perfect place for everyone to hang around. We were very fortunate to have great weather during our stay, the outside seating and fire pit is perfect for big groups and is well maintained. All of the barns main rooms have a wonderfully natural and rustic feel to them. There were also plenty of bathroom facilities to accommodate our group of 18. The kitchen area and all of the equipment available would be enough to run a restaurant from, it made cooking and preparing for a large group so simple and stress free. I can't recommend this place enough.

We had such a brilliant stay in the horseshoe barn. It’s a really unique venue. Sadly it rained most of our trip but the underfloor heating kept us warm. It was great to have the big dining room, industrial kitchen, big hall and the bar area. The space was ideal for our group of 20.

Had a fantastic time staying at this unique farmhouse in a particularly gorgeous corner of Somerset. We did a New Years celebration there and the host, Jen, could not have been more helpful in the lead up to the evening. 10/10 would recommend to a large family or two or a group event. Hope to go back in the future!

Absolutely incredible venue. Perfect for large groups, full of character and so much fun. Very close to a bunch of activities and not at all far from Bristol. Jen is also an amazing host! Great getaway!!
