A unique and private space located in the countryside of Co.Offaly. This is an auxiliary self catering unit located to the rear of the main house. Upon entry to The Loft, our guests are met with a bright and spacious kitchen with adjoining bathroom which includes power shower and heated towel rail. Upstairs, guests can relax in the open plan living space which includes 2 single beds and a double. Kitchen appliances include Kettle, Microwave, Toaster and Hob.

Just home after spending a wonderful few days with hosts Breda & Pat. The loveliest couple who made myself, husband & kids feel right at home. By far, this is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Both Breda & Pat went over and above to make sure our stay was fantastic. Would highly recommend. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Given our central location, we are in close proximity to several amenities and popular tourist attractions.
Europe's most modern distillery Tullamore Dew is just a 4 minute drive. Regular tours and tastings are available but must be booked in advance. In contrast, Kilbeggan Distillery Experience, one of Europe's oldest distilleries is just a 20 minute drive.
Lough Boora Parklands and Walkway is the ideal rural escape which is just a 10 minute drive from The Loft. Visitors to Lough Boora can opt for several different walking paths and treks. Bike rental is also available at Lough Boora.
Tullamore Harriers is one of Irelands most popular athletics tracks in both juvenile and senior competitions. The club is located just 5 minutes drive away from The Loft and is also walking distance from Tullamore Town Centre.
One of Irelands leading inland golf course's Esker Hills is just a 9 minute drive away. The course is home to Shane Lowry, Ireland's first Irish Open winner as an Amateur. Designed by Christy O Connor Jnr in 1994, the course promises to challenge the best of golfers in a peaceful and natural environment.
Tullamore Golf Course is just a 6 minute drive from us and is also a highly respected 18 hole championship golf course. The course was rated as 21st in the Top 100 golf Courses in Ireland in the 2019 Irish Golfer Magazine.
We are a 7 minute drive from Tullamore Train Station which is served several times daily by the Dublin - Galway line and Dublin- Westport line.
Kearns Bus service also runs several time daily from Screggan to Tullamore. (Train Station, Town Centre, Tullamore Hospital) The bus stop is just a 1 minute walk from The Loft.
This service is also available from Dublin, Galway and Maynooth.
There is also a Taxi service available 24/7 from an operator in the town centre.
