Great house and great place!

Brent and Jenni's home is a big family house, ideally located for us, a group of families coming for the Bushfire Festival. It's a comfortable and quiet place to stay, only 15 minutes drive from the Festival. Our checking in was a bit hectic, as we late late due to an overcrowded border and crazy traffic, and the rooms were not set up as requested, but the housekeeper reorganised everything. We did not sleep a lot the first night because of dogs constantly barking (apparently not the owners' ones), but the second night was better and the third one was perfect, without noise. There's also a cat in the house, which is important to know, especially when travelling with children. (The dogs don't enter the house) The garden and the swimming pool area are great areas to relax even in winter, with a beautiful view on the mountains. The house is not very secure for young children (under 2) with stairs and mezzanine railing with big holes. The 2 onsite employees made sure our stay went smooth.

We so enjoyed the pool, the beautiful views, well equipped kitchen, air conditioning and extremely comfortable beds. We were also thrilled to have a Christmas tree and decor! It made it feel so homey! The personal travel pictures were a beautiful personal touch. If you do. It have 4-wheel drive DO NOT book this property. The road up to the house was virtually impassable which was not mentioned in the listing. This is the only road to the property. While the road isn’t the host responsibility, alerting guests to the road is. We were extremely disappointed to have to hire someone to get us up and down the mountain this property is on because it was unsafe to go up and down. The best thing about the property was hands down their house worker Gabi! She went above and beyond to help us and was a delight to get to know.

Brent and Jenni were incredible hosts! They went way beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable, and made themselves available throughout our stay! The house is located in a tranquil area with pool views of the mountain range that are unmatched. Brent and Jenni’s place is clean and comfortable and has everything you could need, and more. I️ 100% recommend a stay here! :)
