Beautiful place, rustick cabin sorrounded by nature. AC worked great. Hosts were very acomodating and flexible with check in and check out times. They gave me good advise. Very nice people. Good breakfast included. Beds were confortable too. This time their internet failed but maybe it was just bad luck. They called inmediatelly to get it fixed.

These cabins are on an organic farm that the father started 30 years ago! There's a store and restaurant on the property. The mom makes a great Tico breakfast. Her rice & beans are the best! The fresh fruit is amazing. BEST bananas I've ever had. the cabin was huge and very comfortable w AC. Can't imagine a better place in Golfito!

Booked this for our stay near Golfito. From the start, Luis the owner was extremely helpful and kind and met us when we arrived. The cabina we rented was spacious, had good AC and nice TV and decent internet. It was clean with fresh linen, nice sized fridge and large cooking area. Luis was a gracious host who took us on a tour of his finca (farm) to show us how it is run. We had fresh coconut and watermelon from his farm which was a real treat, and played some table tennis. We also met his wife, who was extremely kind and helpful. Luis's decent English supplemented our poor Spanish, making the stay that much more pleasurable. Being animal lovers, it was lovely to have his dogs around the property. Would love to visit again.

We are a family of 5 with 3 kids under 10. We travel around for the winter and stayed at Canto del Tucán Lodge for 5 nights. We felt very comfortable in our cabana. Everything we needed was provided(basic kitchen ware, AC, hot water, fast internet, clean linens and towels, cable/smart tv)or immediately given to us if we asked (an additional larger table and chairs to do schoolwork and play games with the kids). The family that lives on the property is delightful. They have a farm, hiking trail and will provide breakfast for a reasonable fee in the reception area. They usually make a tipico breakfast but when they saw our kids they nicely offered pancakes. We had a guided tour throughout the property from Luis. We also enjoyed a Choza Verde event which is like a Farmer’s Market that they hosted while we stayed. It’s a short drive to Golfito for snorkeling and boat tours as well as hiking trails in the nearby National parks. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again one day.
