The place is just as the pictures show, very cute. The area was a little questionable. You can hear everything from the upstairs neighbors. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions I had. It was an overall okay stay.

The location was good for what we needed to do in Savannah. There were restaurants near by. A grocery store that was very close. The house was nice, but not newly renovated. The shower was tricky, the handle to turn on the water is not normal. (Hard to explain in a review). You will need to bring your own toiletries. ( I did find a gallon of shampoo/conditioner mix tucked under the toilet on my last night there) There was a noise issue from the neighbors upstairs, so if your a light sleep this would not be the place for you to stay.

We had a nice stay overall, the location was great! Neighbors were nice, and Kroger is right around the corner, parking is convenient. Took 2 stars out because there wasn’t much attention to details related to listed amenities. For this price point I was expecting a bit more. (1) listing mentioned availability of kids book and toys but was nowhere to be found. When I inquired about it, the response was they won’t keep on replacing the toys/books them because they are getting taken by prior occupants. So Why list it if you won’t replace it… ?! we only spent a few hours a day in the house and purposely didn’t bring a few toys for the toddler due to the listing having this advertised. (2) the listing mentioned a high-chair but it was dirty (3) the listing mentioned a pack n play , which we found at the bottom of the closet under all the blankets: one arm was broken. It was still safe for an infant so I didn’t complain but it wasn’t gonna work to secure a toddler. I also inquired weeks beforehand what the size of the pack n play was to prep the fitted sheets and only reply I got was “couldn’t provide the measurement”. (Most airBNB owners would at least try to drop by the house at some point and take a measurement) (4) dishwasher was leaking pretty bad on day 1, owner responded quickly but unfortunately serviceman did not show up on a Monday. FYI, you will hear EVERY single word spoken between the front porch and bedroom #1. Super nice neighbors were hanging out and having a great time in the front porch around 9-11pm while I was putting a toddler and infant to sleep. I would still recommend this house overall if you don’t have kids, and if you don’t mind the noise.

The unit was dated but clean and had an assigned parking drive. Easy walking to the Kroger grocery store, park, and Chatham Hall dormitory. Air conditioning worked well. The shower did not drain well and the clothing dryer took 4-5 cycles to dry cloths. No body soap, clothing detergent, no ice maker. Old plumbing so the water was not really drinkable. There were also some maintenance issues that the owner was made aware. You could hear every foot step through the ceiling from the upper stairs tenants during the day and night. They also had a toddler that ran around very early in the morning...lots of loud little footsteps that woke us each morning. Livable unit but not one of our best Airbnb stays.
